Storm Sandy came and went much easier than I thought and much easier than what we prepared for. The power only blinked for a second. We were prepared for the worst and we got the best: No power out, no trees down, no flooding, no damage.
Two straight days of rain, sometimes heavy. A few hours of unusually strong winds. But we really caught a break on this one.
We didn't even eat all the junk food we stocked up on!
