While we still have electricity, the kids are pumping up the air mattresses in the basement. We've had coffee, showers, finished the laundry, run the dishwasher, etc.
We still have a steady strong rain. If it was snow, we'd probably call it a blizzard and the snow would probably be getting pretty deep. For now, there is a noticeable increase in wind and rain, but nothing scary yet--except the press conferences. All these governors and mayors are obviously bracing for the worst. Good.
