The rain and wind are picking up. Still something like an average strong storm.
I got up around 8:30 and decided I should get some coffee going while the power is still on. Decided to put up the kumkum (hot water urn) so if power goes out we'll have hot water for a while. And then I decided if the pitchers were going to be sitting on the counter anyway, they may as well be full of potable water, so I filled them.
We've made a mostly decent effort to prepare. Now we wait. I'm actually interested to see what nature will bring.
